Shadow puppets are fun and easy to play with. They offer limitless options for creative story telling.
How to play with your shadow puppets:
- Tack up a sheet in a doorway or hang one between two chairs
- Turn off the lights in your audience’s room and shine a light from behind you
- Hold your puppets up against your “screen”
- Dazzle your audience with wit and humor
Tips:
For extra light, clip an inexpensive clamp light from the hardware store to a chair behind the performers. Use a flourescent bulb for less heat.
Hold the puppets right up against the screen for a crisp shadow.
